The things we carry

Not all relationships are simple, not all of them are easy. Meaningful relationships sometimes get more difficult over time. We learn about the people in our lives as we go for as long as we know them. Some of those things are often ugly and navigating them is part of loving the people we love. The things we carry are usually too much. We need time to show them.

If people showed up with their baggage everywhere they went, no one would have any friends.
